‘BEST STARTING SALES AGENT 2007’ BY LOT POLISH AIRLINES

BRUSSELS, 18 December 2007 – At the beginning of January 2007, ABX LOGISTICS opened a new company in Poland for Air & Sea Freight Forwarding. Less than one year later, ABX LOGISTICS (Poland) has been named ‘Best Starting Sales Agent 2007’ by prominent national airline, LOT Polish Airlines.

2007 is ending on a high note for ABX LOGISTICS in Poland with the announcement of the opening of five new branches and sales offices in the country. From the beginning of 2008, Warsaw will house two ABX LOGISITCS offices: the headquarters in the city and an Operations Office at Warsaw Airport.

At the same time, branches will also open in the town of (1) Katowice, the main city in the Silesian industrial region to the South-West of the country, and in (2) Poznan, a major industrial centre in west-central Poland, and (3) a Sales Office will begin operations in Wroclaw, Lower Silesia. Plans are also in hand for a further branch in Gdynia (Gdansk), to open in 2008.

Under the leadership of Wolfgang Osond, appointed General Manager of ABX LOGISTICS (Poland) in November 2007, the company is moving into the European road haulage (Eurocargo) sector in addition to its existing Air & Sea and customs business led by Grzegorz Ciagarlak, General Manager Air & Sea ABX LOGISTICS (Poland)
