Kaleidoscope is a two-language magazine issued in Polish and in English for the passengers of PLL LOT. The magazine is neutral in its view of the world and in its political opinion.
Kaleidoscope is an important element of the corporate communication and the creation of the company image. Moreover, it comprises information on cities that LOT visits and the board and airport products offered to passengers. Therefore PLL LOT attaches great significance to the selection of photo materials and articles chosen by the publisher as well as the high quality of editing.
Apart form presenting Poland as an important point of the cultural, tourist and economic map of the world, Kaleidoscope provides information on important events of the world of culture, science, business and sport, presents interesting places and regions in Poland and abroad, presents profiles of famous artists, businessmen, scientists, sportsmen, people of unusual professions, provides information on the variety and diversity of cultures, traditions and customs and describes the unusual world of nature. In the last several years, the magazine was issued in 30 thousand copies. It is distributed on the board of PLL LOT planes, in national and international branch offices, executive lounges at the airports, during fairs and promotional events in Poland and abroad.

Win a ticket!
Once again we are opening up our photographic competition ‘Win a Ticket!’ to Kaleidoscope’s readers, passengers flying with LOT Polish Airlines.
As in previous years, the winner will receive two return tickets on any route on the worldwide LOT flight network. The second prize is two return tickets on any European route operated by LOT. The jury will also give honorary mentions to three more winners, awarding them with souvenirs from Poland’s national carrier.
Entrants may submit no more than 3 photographs. The jury will assess prints on photographic paper, or works recorded on CD.
In order to be eligible for the competition, the photographs should be accompanied by a ticket (or boarding pass) with LOT Polish Airlines or one of the other member airlines of Star Alliance, used on any route in 2008.
The competition ‘Win a Ticket’ is open to amateur photographers, and is only open to persons aged 18 and above.
Send in your pictures, together with a description and information regarding where and when they were taken, by 31 October 2008 (the deadline for works to reach the editorial offices!), to:
