Mr. Nowak holds M.Sc. in Economics, and is also a Polish chartered accountant and registered auditor.
He is a lecturer at the School of Business of the Warsaw University where he lectures on: the single investment fund market in the European Union.
He is also a member of the Audit Board of the EUROCONTROL – the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation in Brussels and a member of the Audit Working Group of the SESAR Joint Undertaking – a joint venture between the EUROCONTROL and the European Community on the Single European Sky policy within the European Union.
Since February 8th, 2008, until being elected President & CEO of LOT Polish Airlines, he was a member of the Supervisory Board of the LOT Polish Airlines. In 2005-2006 he was a Plenipotentiary of the CEO of the Polish Airlines LOT SA for the Initial Public Offering. Prior to that, he specialized in advising financial services clients within Central and Eastern Europe since the beginning of the political and economic changes in that region. In 1995 – 2004 he was a director/partner at an international consultancy firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He practiced financial services consulting in Central and Eastern Europe, Luxembourg, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Mr. Wypych is a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical, Power and Aeronautical Engineering, where he obtained the diploma of Master Engineer in Mechanical Engineering. He completed a series of training courses, including Airline Management, Supply Management, Project Management, Strategic Cost Management, Quality Management.
He has worked in PLL LOT since 1987. From 2000 till 2007 he was Director of the Aeronautical Engineering Department. Until the day he was appointed Member of the Management Board of PLL LOT, he was Director of the Office of Strategy and Development of Aeronautical Engineering.
Mr. Wypych is 59 years old and speaks English and Russian. He is married and has one grandson. He is actively engaged in sport.
He is a graduate of the London School of Economics and the Warsaw University (Faculty of Law and Administration).
He has worked in PLL LOT since 1980, among others as Assistant of the President, Director of the Office of the Management Board, Director of the Advertising and Promotion Office, Director of the Communication and PR Office and as Member of the Management Board for HR Issues. He was a member of Supervisory Boards. Currently he is a member of the Trilateral Commission for Social and Economic Matters.
Until the day of taking over the current position he acted as Representative of the President of the Management Board for Infrastructure Management. He is 50 years old.
Mr. Tyrajski graduated at the Warsaw School of Economics (manager studies). In 2003-2005 he took a cycle of training and exams, after which he has been registered as a member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He is a student of the University of Quebec at Montreal – The Canadian Executive Master of Business Administration.
Among some of his tasks were: the preparation of long-term financial plans for companies and direct operational supervision over economic and financial activities of several companies. Mr. Tyrajski is experienced in managing finances of a large capital group.
Since 2005 until the day he was appointed Member of Management Board of LOT Polish Airlines for economic and financial matters, Mr. Tyrajski held the post of Vice-president of Management Board of ZEP-CWS Sp. z o.o. (subsidary of Energa S.A.).
On April 16th, 2007 Mr. Konrad Tyrajski was appointed Member of Management Board of LOT Polish Airlines for economic and financial matters.
Mr. Tyrajski speaks English. He is 35 years old, married, two daughters. He is interested in mathematics and motorization.
