Heavy cargo (HEA)
Heavy cargo: Goods exceeding 125 kilos per item.
Large cargo: Goods transported on two or more pallet positions.
The following rules must be adhered to when transporting HEA:
- accepting air carrier and destination handling agent regulations must be observed ensuring ground handling equipment and manpower availability
- reservations for the whole transport must be confirmed
Warsaw Okecie Airport weight limits are:
- 600 kilos per piece of un-palletized cargo
- 4800 kilos per piece of palletized cargo
24 hours advance notice is required for handling any cargo exceeding above limits
