How to book a ticket without a first name or last name, or with a one-letter name?

If your travel document does not include a surname, enter your first name in the “Last name” field and the appropriate title in the “First name” field, e.g. MR or MRS.

Example:
First name: JOHN
Last name: none

Enter in the booking form:
Last name: JOHN
First name: MR

The “Last name” field must contain at least two characters. If your last name consists of only one letter, e.g. Y, and your travel document does not include a first name, enter your one-letter last name followed by the appropriate title in the “Last name” field. Enter the title again in the “First name” field.

Example:
Last name: Y
First name: none

Enter in the booking form:
Last name: Y MR
First name: MR

If your last name consists of only one letter, e.g. Y, and your first name is JOHN, enter your last name followed by your first name in the “Last name” field. Enter the appropriate title in the “First name” field.

Example:
Last name: Y
First name: JOHN

Enter in the booking form:
Last name: Y JOHN
First name: MR

If your travel document includes a last name but no first name, enter your last name in the “Last name” field and the appropriate title in the “First name” field.

Example:
Last name: SMITH
First name: none

Enter in the booking form:
Last name: SMITH
First name: MR

If your first name consists of only one letter, you can enter it in the booking form as a single character.

Example:
Last name: SMITH
First name: J

Enter in the booking form:
Last name: SMITH
First name: J
