The Royal Road
The Royal Road is the most attractive and most frequently visited by tourist route in Krakow. Krakow Airport is located approximately 11 kilometers to the west of the city center, along the A4 motorway, which is the stretch of the ring road of Krakow. Express Parking Kiss & Fly is located in front of terminal T1. Passengers can get on and off at the designated zones, loading and unloading luggage. Long-term multi-storey car park is located opposite the terminal T1. At level 0 there are marked in blue spaces for the disabled. The fee for short-term parking and multi-storey parking can be paid in vending machines located next to the entrance to the parking or Service Office at 0.5 multi-level parking. In the vending machines, you can only pay in cash, and Service Office Car Park, both in cash and payment cards. Airport transfers are supported by the official Krakow Airport Taxi. Taxi ranks are located directly at the exit of the terminals T1 and T2.
Buses at the airport
Connections between the airport and Krakow is provided by agglomeration lines. You can reach the city by the day lines 208 and 292, as well as the night line 902. Depending on traffic, journey takes 30 to 45 minutes. Bus stops are located at the airport's Terminal T1 and T2. Single journey costs 4.00 PLN full price and 2.00 PLN reduced. 60 minutes journey costs 5.00 or 2.50 PLN. 90 minutes journey costs 6,00 or 3,00 PLN. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket machine at the bus stop (possible payment by cash or credit card). The ticket machine in the bus line 292 (payment in cash - coins only). It is also possible to purchased them directly from the driver, in the absence or failure of the vending machine at the bus (only single tickets, cash payment).
Modern trains Malopolska Railways run from station to the main station in Krakow to Krakow Airport, which costs 8 PLN. Travel time takes approximately 18 minutes. Each train is air-conditioned, equipped with power outlets, Wi-Fi, tickets machines, has 170 seats and specially dedicated space for the disabled. Luggage transport is free. A ticket for a dog costs 3 PLN. Tickets can be purchased from the vending machine at the passenger terminal in its eastern part at the 0 level. Depending on the time of day, trains run every 30-60 minutes. Trains do not run between midnight and 5 am.
