Bethlehem is one of the greatest cities of Israel. Its identified with the birth of Jesus Christ. Church of the Nativity is one of the oldest churches in the world. Since 2012 the building is on UNESCO World Heritage List. In the Basilica of the Nativity it is possible to see the place of Christ's birth. Another place that is particularly worth seeing is the Mosque of Omar. It is located just 200 meters from the Basilica of the Nativity. You should know that this is the only mosque in the old part of Bethlehem. It was built in 1980, so it is quite modern. In the city there are also many other noteworthy churches and monasteries. You should also visit the local bazaar, and charming restaurants.
Mar Saba is an Orthodox monastery located a few kilometers east of Bethlehem in the desert of Judea. It was founded in 482 years A.D. It is a fantastic place to visit because of the beautiful view of the monastery situated on a steep cliff. From the access road to the Mar Saba, we can also enjoy views of the Dead Sea. What’s important women are not allowed to enter the monastery.
Masada is an amazing place to see because of the breathtaking views. It is also on the UNESCO site. This old fortress is located on top of the massif rock rising 441 m above the level of the Dead Sea. At the top there is a paradise for every tourist - ruins of the fort structures and more than thirty objects to see. Masada fortress was built in the year 30 BC by King Herod. The remains of the fortress are well- preserved and have been partially reconstructed to pay tribute to the heroism of its former inhabitants. Masada is also now a popular place for concerts and events that take place here throughout the whole year.

Tel Aviv Ben-Gurion Airport
Ben Gurion Airport is the largest airport of Israel, situated near the city of Lod. It is located 15 kilometers southeast of Tel Aviv and around 50 kilometers from Jerusalem. It is named after the first Prime Minister of Israel- David Ben Gurion. This airport is the busiest and the fastest growing airports in Israel. It handles both domestic and international flights. Ben Gurion Airport is one of the most strictly controlled in the world. Cars are checked before entering the area surrounding the airport, at the entrance there are checkpoints and inside the port every departing passenger is carefully questioned.
The airport consists of four terminals. Between two passengers terminals (T1 and T3) runs a free shuttle bus. All domestic flights are served in Terminal 1. International flights are handled in Terminal 3. At the airport there are many facilities for travelling with children or disabled people. It is possible to rest and eat in many restaurants and cafes. You can also find there banks, cash machines, post office and luggage storage.
How to reach the airport
The easiest way to reach the city center is to take a train. The railway station is located at Terminal 3. Train goes to Tel Aviv Central Train Station every 20 minutes. There are also public buses operated by Egged which can take passengers to many different destinations. At the bus station in Airport City there are many lines available. Bus number 5 runs between the airport and Airport City. Buses number 423, 945 and 947 run to Jerusalem and Haifa and bus 475 goes to Tel Aviv Central Bus Station.
Ovda Airport is the second largest airport in Israel. it is located in the south, 60 km north of the city of Eilat. The airport handles both charter and regular international flights. There is one- storey passenger terminal dedicated exclusively to tourists coming to Eilat. At the airport you will find duty-free shop, souvenir shop, snack bar, jewelry shop, a café and currency exchange. Unfortunately there are no cash machines nor car rental companies. The Wi-Fi connection is unlimited.
Ovda Airport was built in 1981 as a military base of Israel. It lies in the desert between numerous military bases. There are green Egged buses number 392 to Beersheba and 282 to Eilat. It is possible to buy the tickets only in cash from the driver. Additionally you can use Eilat Shuttle bus ordered in advance through the website. The only payment method is credit card.

Jerusalem - the Holy City
Jerusalem is over 6,000 years, and for centuries has been a flashpoint for the three major religions.
The beauty of this city, its history and monuments attract many pilgrims and tourists from all over the world. The biggest attractions of the city include the Mount of Olives, the Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher, Way of the Cross, the Al Aqsa Mosque and the Wailing Wall. Group of Monuments in Jerusalem, along with defensive walls was inscribed on the UNESCO list in 1981. Jerusalem's Old City occupies an area of 0.9 km2, surrounded by walls, 35 towers and a citadel. It is possible to enter it through one of the seven gates, eighth of them, called the Golden Gate, is closed from the time of Suleiman.
Nazareth and Eilat
Nazareth is located in the Lower Galilee, in the heart of the valley surrounded by mountains. It is a city of religion and faith, but at the same time rich history, fascinating archeology and modern culture city. The main attraction of the city it Basilica of the Annunciation. The Basilica is located in the city center and it is a modern building from the 60's of the twentieth century. After visiting it you can take a walk to an Arab bazaar. Wandering up the old town you can see an Orthodox monastery.
Eilat is located on the south of Israel. This hot and dry city is the closest to the Europe and tropical sea with dazzling coral reefs, guaranteed sunny weather all year round, as well as unusual flora and fauna.
