There are also six international companies which offer car rental services. The airport has a restaurant open daily from 5.00 to 23.00, a café and a bar. Also it is possible to buy cosmetics, perfumes, sweets, alcohol and tobacco products, as well as souvenirs in a duty-free zone. The airport offers paid parking for travelers. A fee must be paid in vending machines before leaving the airport. The first 10 minutes of parking is free of charge - price per hour is about 2 Euros, the price per day is around 48 Euros.
Airport Bratislava- Stefanik is the major airport in Slovakia. It is located less than 9 kilometers from the center of Bratislava. From Vienna, Brno and Gyor it is just an hour away, so passengers traveling to these places often use this port. The airport serves more than 2 million passengers a year. There are domestic, international and intercontinental routes available. Between the airport and Bratislava's city center (Central Station) every 10-20 min runs bus line 61. Approximate driving time on this tour is 25 minutes. There are many bars, restaurants and cafes at the whole airport area. Currency exchange points are located at terminals B and C of the airport. Thanks to that many institutions have been revitalized - the Museum of Eastern Slovakia, Slovak Technical Museum or the Museum of Vojtech Löffler. A unique project that also created before the ECC is The Culture Park in old barracks. They old military barracks were revitalized and given to young artists who can now show their work here and give concerts. At the site of the former barracks there are also cafes and pubs.
Bratislava- Pearl of the Danube
Bratislava is the only capital in the world, which lies on the border of three countries Slovakia, Austria and Hungary. It was founded at the crossroads of the Amber Route, which connects the Baltic Sea with the Mediterranean Sea. At different moments of history it was occupied by Celts, Romans and Slavs and in 1526-1784 it was also the capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The magnificent castle from the fourteenth century became a symbol of the city. Beautiful market square, historic bridges and remainings of the old city walls, make the Slovak very attractive to its visitors. Beside that you can also admire here St. Martin's Cathedral, the historic town center, decorated with fifteenth-century Old Town Hall, old palaces and the St. Michael's Gate.
Banská Štiavnica is a unique and famous city. It took its name after the silver lodges. The city is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Since the beginning of its existence it was closely connected with the mining of gold and silver. With the decline of the local production, the city stopped its development.
