Kaleidoscope - September 2020

Although in September we leave the summer behind, there will still be plenty of sunny days ahead of us. It is therefore worth planning your next trips already today, which we wish to inspire in the new edition of the LOT Polish Airlines on-board magazine. We invite you to visit Dublin – a modern metropolis on the River Liffey, abounding in monuments and hospitable pubs, we show the unobvious face of London, which is frequently visited by Poles, and we check what the phenomenon of Seoul – the so-called benevolent tiger – is all about. The September issue will also feature national inspirations. This time we are inviting you to Bydgoszcz – known as the little Polish Amsterdam and a paradise for cyclists, as well as to discover the culinary routes of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship.

For those who enjoy reading interesting interviews, we recommend an interview with Agnieszka Więdłocha. The actress tells us, among other things, why the BohaterON campaign which she supports is so important for the surviving heroes of the Warsaw Uprising.

We also do not forget about important social initiatives. The golden ribbon visible on the cover of the latest “Kaleidoscope” is the symbol of a project supported by LOT, which aims to raise the awareness as to the prevention of cancer in children.

“Kaleidoscope” has been the on-board magazine of LOT Polish Airlines for over 40 years now (since 1979). It has been published, for nearly 10 years now, by Burda Media Polska Sp. z o.o. – a publishing house, whose portfolio includes the leading titles of the Polish travel market and lifestyle magazines, such as, for instance: “National Geographic”, “National Geographic Traveler”, “Elle” or “Gala”.

Apart from very favorable opinions expressed by our passengers, “Kaleidoscope” has also been recognized with a number of awards. These include, inter alia, the following: Award of the Polish Association of Scientific Journalists (2011), 1st place in the Agape Corporate Bulletin Contest (2015), Column of the Year (2017), Gold Medal - Power of Content Marketing Awards (2017), Main Prize – Luxurious Brand of the Year (2018) and Main Prize in the Optimistic Company Contest (2019).
