Bank Pekao and LOT Polish Airlines have entered into strategic cooperation in the Miles & More programme

Bank Pekao S.A. and LOT Polskie Linie Lotnicze LOT S.A. have signed a cooperation agreement. Under this agreement, Bank Pekao will offer its customers participation in Europe’s most extensive loyalty programme Miles & More. Participants in the programme will be able to earn miles for transactions made with selected bank cards, including the Żubr Credit Card.

Miles & More credit cards are available in more than 20 countries and provide users with attractive privileges. In the first quarter of 2024, Bank Pekao, in cooperation with LOT Polish Airlines, will provide its customers with an additional opportunity to earn miles in the Miles & More programme. Thanks to the signed agreement, in addition to miles for flights, Bank Pekao customers will also be able to earn miles for card transactions, wherever they are made.

“We’re happy to have established a strategic partnership with LOT Polish Airlines and Miles & More. We’ve already begun work on a joint product offering. At Bank Pekao, we create solutions that help our customers meet their financial needs, be it those related to everyday matters and travel. I’m more than sure that this will be the best offer of this kind in Poland”, says Paweł Strączyński, Vice-President of the Management Board of Bank Pekao S.A.

With 36 million Miles & More members worldwide, it is Europe’s largest frequent traveller loyalty programme. Miles are earned by flying with LOT and other Star Alliance partner airlines as well as by using the services of programme partners. They can be exchanged for attractive prizes, including but not limited to airline tickets, hotel stays, or car rentals.

“We believe that the partnership between Bank Pekao and LOT will render it possible for us to provide supreme quality and yet another benefit to our passengers. The unique aspect of this cooperation is that customers receive a favourable banking offer and that they can earn miles by paying for everyday purchases. This gives them the opportunity to realise their dreams of travelling faster”, says Michał Fijoł, President of the Management Board of PLL LOT S.A.

The Żubr Credit Card of Bank Pekao is a product addressed to all customers. The card is available in three packages: Standard, Gold and Platinum. It can be free with any package, and its unique features include the ability to change the package at any time, repayment in 0% instalments, reimbursement for online purchases, travel insurance or free access to airport lounges in case of flight delays.
