THE FIRST LOT AIRPLANE HAS DEPARTED FROM RADOM AIRPORT

Warsaw, 28 April 2023 – On Friday, 28 April, the first LOT Polish Airlines airplane departed from Warsaw-Radom airport. Passengers traveling with the national carrier departed to one of the most beautiful capital cities in Europe – Rome.

The official opening of Warsaw-Radom airport took place on Thursday, 27 April. The first LOT Polish Airlines airplane departed from the Mazovian airport one day later. A Boeing 737-800 departed to Rome on 28 April at 1:30 p.m. local time. The flight was immensely popular, nearly all seats were sold out. The same applies to the second flight operated by the national carrier from Radom – a Boeing 737-800 will depart to Paris at 7:50 p.m.

We are pleased that Warsaw-Radom airport has been opened. We are also glad about the opportunities it provides. The seat load factor of our aircraft proves that trips to European capital cities are hugely popular. As soon as June, passengers will have an opportunity to fly to holiday destinations such as Bulgaria, Albania or Greece. Join us onboard!, said Michał Fijoł, Member of the Management Board, Chief Commercial Officer.

Flights to Paris are scheduled for Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, whereas return flights are scheduled for Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Passengers can travel with LOT Polish Airlines from Radom to Rome and back on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The first aircraft will depart to Varna, Tirana and Preveza in the late spring.

Tickets for LOT Polish Airlines flights are already available via all sales channels, including the lot.com website, LOT Contact Center and LOT Travel offices.
