We would like to make you aware of the upcoming G20-Summit in Hamburg in early July. Traffic in the whole city will be more congested during this period and we recommend all passengers to schedule extra time for the way to and from the airport from 06 July to 09 July 2017. Moreover passengers should make use of the rapid transport system which connects the city centre with the airport within 25min
Moreover, enhanced passport and document checks should be expected on all flights to Hamburg during this time and the days leading to the event. We therefore recommend to anticipate a potentially longer than normal journey time from security check to the boarding gate of your flight to Hamburg.
