WITH LOT, YOU CAN FLY FROM WARSAW TO ROME AND FROM WROCLAW TO SEOUL
Warsaw, 3rd July2023 – The Warsaw – Rome route has been reinstated to the flight network of LOT Polish Airlines. And from the capital of Lower Silesia, you can get as far as Seoul. This is yet another novelty announced by the national carrier.
Being the national carrier, we are working hand in hand with the Polish business. Over the last two years, our exporters have placed in Italy goods worth over PLN 100 billion. I do believe that better communication with the capital of this Poland’s great economic partner will contribute to further growth in trade. Rome is also at the forefront of the cities that Poles visit most often. This fact is confirmed by the rankings of the tourist industry and the high figures in sales of our flights to the Eternal City from Radom. By opening the connection on the Warsaw – Rome route, we address the expectations of passengers and invite them to travel with our airlines, which are one of the most punctual in Europe, said Michał Fijoł, president of LOT Polish Airlines.
LOT’s offer also includes a proposal for participants in the developing trade relations between Poland and South Korea. The beneficiaries will be twofold, be it those associated with Korean companies operating in Lower Silesia and enthusiasts of long-distance travel. On board the Dreamliner, they will travel from Wrocław to Seoul, the capital and largest city of South Korea. This means that offices housed in the local modern skyscrapers and delicacies from the Tongin market, or walks around the exclusive Gangam-gu district, will be available to every Wrocław resident.
We have been constantly working to reinstate LOT’s sustainable profitability. We lay our focus on operational excellence and business development in the most promising segments, utilising all market opportunities. This is one of the reasons why we include long-distance connections from regional airports to our offer, said the president, Michał Fijoł, and added: We operate in a highly competitive market, every day competing against the airlines dominating the world’s sky. Our aircraft’s load factor, punctuality reports or financial data certify that we are pursuing the right strategy.
