Together with Port Polska, we are hosting one of the sector’s most important and prestigious events worldwide — the TIACA Global Executive Summit 2026, which will be held in Poland for the first time.

A prestigious event in Poland for the first time
From 1–3 June 2026, Warsaw will be in the spotlight of the global air cargo industry, and together with Port Polska we will host this exceptional event.
The choice of Poland as the host country reflects the growing strength of the Central and Eastern European region, as well as the dynamic development of LOT Cargo.
The TIACA Global Executive Summit 2026 will bring together more than 350 top-level executives from around the world. The meeting will address key development trends shaping global supply chains, including the transport of high-tech goods, pharmaceuticals, and the e-commerce segment.
“Hosting the TIACA Global Executive Summit in Warsaw confirms the growing position of LOT Cargo and the entire Central and Eastern European region on the global air cargo map. We are seeing increasing interest in this market and are consistently expanding our operational capabilities. Today, around 40% of Polish shipments in this segment are already handled directly, bypassing traditional Western European hubs, which shortens delivery times and improves efficiency.”
— Michał Grochowski, Director of the Cargo and Mail Office at LOT Polish Airlines

What is TIACA Global Executive Summit?
It is an annual summit organised by The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA), a global organisation bringing together market participants — from airlines and their sales representatives, providers of systems supporting their work, and all participants in the air cargo value chain, to airports and industry representatives.
This year’s programme will feature two days of debates dedicated to the sector’s key challenges, including the growing role of e-commerce and new trade routes, digitalisation and sustainable development, as well as strengthening the resilience of supply chains. The substantive part of the event will be complemented by networking events held at various locations across Warsaw.

Poland on the global logistics map
The growing role of the CEE region stems not only from the current operational activity of carriers, but also from ongoing investments that may significantly reshape the balance of power on Europe’s logistics map in the coming years.
The Port Polska construction project, one of the largest infrastructure projects on the continent, includes the development of Cargo City, among other facilities. In this context, LOT Cargo is seen as one of the key operators of the infrastructure under development.
“As part of the Port Polska programme, we are building a modern aviation hub together with Cargo City — an integrated logistics and industrial ecosystem that will enable Poland and the entire Central and Eastern European region to fully leverage the potential of the dynamically growing cargo market. We want to actively help shape the future of this industry — from digitalisation and new logistics models to strengthening the resilience of global supply chains.”
— Dr Filip Czernicki, President of Centralny Port Komunikacyjny S.A.

LOT Cargo — expertise in freight transport
Air cargo transport, which is crucial for the carriage of high-value goods, is an integral part of our business. LOT Cargo primarily uses the cargo capacity of passenger aircraft — known as belly cargo — and is developing supporting Road Feeder Services (RFS), which make it possible to deliver cargo also to destinations without direct air connections.
We operate across various market segments — from standard air freight and express shipments to specialist transport — building a coherent logistics system. At the same time, we are consistently expanding our route network and operational capabilities, strengthening Poland’s role in global supply chains and gradually reducing dependence on Western European hubs.

These activities are part of the dynamic growth of the market in Poland and the Central and Eastern European region, where cargo volumes exceed 1.2 million tonnes annually. Our growing operational role and presence in the region contributed to Warsaw being entrusted with hosting the TIACA Global Executive Summit — one of the most important industry events in the world. This is the result of our consistent efforts to build our position and commitment to the development of the region.
