Want to avoid unnecessary charges at the airport? If your fare includes only carry-on baggage or you need an additional checked bag, make your purchase as early as possible. By buying extra baggage through our website, mobile app, or Contact Center, you’ll get a discount and save time – airport prices are always the highest.

Overweight or oversized baggage? No problem!

Travel worry-free, even with excess baggage. If your bag exceeds the allowed dimensions (total height, width, and depth over 158 cm) or weight (over 23 kg), you can easily pay the excess baggage fee via our Contact Center – and make sure everything is in order before you travel. Please note: the maximum weight for a single piece of baggage is 32 kg.

When can you add baggage?

You can purchase additional baggage on our website or in the mobile app:

• no later than 3 hours before departure for long-haul flights,
• no later than 2 hours before departure for short- and medium-haul flights.

The price of the service may vary and depends on various factors related to the specifics of your journey. Please refer to Annex No. 2: Conditions of LOT's extra services ("Tailor-Made Services").
