Golf is becoming increasingly popular in China. Golf courses are located mainly near large cities such as Beijing. In the Chinese capital you can play in Honghua International Golf Club (108 Beiyuan Road, Chaoyang) or in Beijing Country Golf Club (Shunyi).
The scorching and humid summer caused that Beijing built many water parks and swimming pools. The most famous is Magic Cube Water Park at 11 Tianchen Donglu in the Olympic Park, near the Bird's Nest. In 2010, it was expanded, creating a real fantasy park with high water slides, pools, spa.
Happy Water Rubik's Cube (No.11 Xiaotun Lu) is the largest open air water park in Beijing. Here you can use 15 different tracks and sail a raft.
If you like to swim, you should go to the Dongdan pool (A2 Dahua Lu). It is not the cheapest, but certainly has the best conditions for swimming in Beijing.
Chaoyang Westin Heavenly Spa (7 Dongsanhuan Beilu) is a 25-meter indoor swimming pool with views of the city.
In Beijing you can also practice zumba and yoga, for example, in Sanlitun Soho Club (No. 8 Workers' Stadium North Rd, Chaoyang District) and East Lake Club (35 Dongzhimenwai Dajie, Chaoyang District).
Beijing Hikers is a family business that since 2001 organizes bike tours around Beijing. The most beautiful and the most recommended is biking expedition: the Great Wall of China. It starts from Beijing to the north-east and runs along a section of the Great Wall through farmlands surrounding Hemp Village, and ends in Jinshanling park, where after dinner you return to Beijing.
