Safety and precautions in public places:

Face mask

Wearing a face mask that covers the mouth and nose, decreases the risk of spreading some respiratory diseases. Using a face mask should be combined with other prevention means – hand hygiene, cough and sneeze principles and avoiding close contact with others.

Frequently wash your hands

Wash your hands often - even several times per hour. Use water with soap or disinfect your hands using alcohol-based liquids/gel (min 60% of alcohol).

Apply protection principles when coughing or sneezing

Cover your mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue – throw the tissue into a closed bin immediately after use, wash your hands using soap and water or disinfect your hands using alcohol-based liquids/gel (min. 60% of alcohol). Doing this you are not spreading the virus to people around you and touched surfaces.

Keep a safe distance

Keep at least 1.5 meter distance between yourself and other people, especially those who cough, sneeze or have a temperature.
