Direct flights from Chicago to Warsaw
Located in the heart of Poland, the capital attracts tourists with its hospitable atmosphere and a unique blend of tradition and modernity. It is a city with a rich history that looks confidently into the future. Warsaw will delight you with its diversity. You will find unique monuments and modern museums, vast parks and sandy beaches, great examples of modern architecture and historical palaces.
Hustle and bustle in the modern city center
The modern city centre pulses with energy. This is where the best hotels from well-known chains are located, as well as stylish boutique hotels. On the main streets you will find shopping centres with boutiques of well-known global and Polish brands.
As vivid and colourful as the city itself is its culinary scene. Designer restaurants sit next to inexpensive milk bars, and traditional Polish cuisine mingles with dishes from around the world. The city also boasts two Michelin-star restaurants.
Charming Old Town
A completely different vibe exists in the Old Town, which was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Its unique atmosphere is created by romantic alleys and colourful houses centred around the market square. In the summer, the Old Town changes into a stage for numerous events, including the “Jazz in the Old Town” International Festival. It is worth taking a walk along the Royal Route. It owes its name to three residences of Polish rulers located on the route. Each of them has a different character. The palaces are surrounded by parks and gardens, and Łazienki Park is one of Warsaw's favourite places. Throughout the summer, you can listen to Chopin concerts there every Sunday.
Amazing Vistula River
To take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, go down to the Vistula River and relax on one of the city's beaches, or go to the boulevards. There you will find seasonal culture cafes, dances and open-air concerts. At weekends, after dark, a colourful spectacle takes place at the Multimedia Fountain Park. Meanwhile, the other shore retains its natural character, which is unique in Europe. When you look at the city from that side, you will see the amazing panorama of Warsaw. Above the red roofs of the Old Town’s buildings, elegant high-rise buildings rise up, and among them the characteristic silhouette of the Palace of Culture and Science.
Warsaw is constantly changing and does not cease to surprise.
