Can I take electronic devices on board the plane?

Electronic devices powered by batteries with a capacity not exceeding 160Wh can be taken on board the plane. Batteries for such equipment should be removed from the device and properly secured and packed separately (so as not to cause a short circuit).

Devices of this type and batteries can only be taken in carry-on baggage.

In order to transport electrical equipment of nominal power capability of over 100 Wh, carrier approval is required. Check the detailed infromation on the transportation of such equipment on the hazardous materials transportation page.
