Can I take sports equipment instead of checked baggage?
Yes. You can check in selected sports equipment free of charge if it fits within the baggage allowance included in your ticket. To use this option, please contact our Contact Center in advance and request to exchange your checked baggage for sports equipment. The maximum weight is 23 kg and the maximum dimensions are 203 cm. If your equipment exceeds these limits, please contact us for individual verification.
The sports equipment that can be exchanged within your baggage allowance includes: fishing equipment, golf equipment, hockey equipment, inline skates, boogieboard/bodyboard, bowling equipment, parachute equipment, mountaineering equipment, scuba diving equipment, skateboard/board, skis (including water skis), snowboard, and tennis, squash, and badminton rackets.
