The first Boeing 737 MAX 8 with the new cabin joined our fleet before Christmas, and today it embarked on its inaugural flight from Warsaw to Madrid.

Interior inspired by Poland

The interior of the new cabin draws inspiration from the Polish landscape—particularly the beauty of the Tatra Mountains and the view of the rising sun, reflected in shades of copper and amber. This continues the design style introduced in our business lounges, whose new look we presented to passengers last year.

“As Poland’s national carrier, we consistently design the travel experience to reflect the very best of Poland. The cabin design, like our airport spaces, draws inspiration from the native landscape and aesthetics. The color palette—deep blues and warm amber accents—creates a calming atmosphere, while the deliberate use of lighting promotes relaxation and comfort. The new interior layout is not just an aesthetic change; it is part of a cohesive strategy to provide passengers with an exceptional experience. We invite you to discover the comfort of traveling with LOT Polish Airlines.”

– Izabela Leszczyńska, Director of Product Development and Customer Experience at LOT Polish Airlines

To make your journey remarkable

Along with the refreshed Boeing 737 MAX 8 cabin, we have introduced additional amenities! Passengers will travel in modern seats featuring a headrest adjustable in six directions, a 60 W USB-C port, a holder for mobile devices, and ergonomic solutions that ensure comfort even on longer flights. These are examples of thoughtful design choices that genuinely enhance travel comfort and align with the concept of a cohesive passenger experience. The seats were manufactured in Poland by RECARO, one of the world’s leading aircraft seat producers.

The passenger cabin design was developed by the British agency Tangerine, which specializes in aircraft interior design and passenger experiences. The agency collaborates with LOT on implementing a consistent visual brand language in aircraft cabins.

“Tangerine was delighted to collaborate with LOT Polish Airlines in redefining the national carrier’s brand experience. The designs of the airport lounges and cabin interiors reflect the unique character of Poland and are the result of a bold, creative process—from thorough analysis to full execution. The first aircraft in the new design will begin operations at the beginning of 2026, opening a new chapter in the airline’s transformation.”

– Matt Round, Chief Creative Officer at Tangerine
