In accordance with the order of the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate, as from March 15th, 2020 all passengers on international flights and transit flights returning to Poland are subject to mandatory body temperature check and are required to complete their Passenger Location Card. Temperature measurement takes place in the second phase of the flight and is performed by the cabin crew, then the result is recorded on the Passenger Location Card. In exceptional cases, measurements may also be taken by medical or security services, who may board the aircraft after the landing.

All passengers returning from Italy and Asian destinations (China, South Korea) are subject to a mandatory double body temperature check. The first measurement is taken by airport staff (Asian directions) or by the cabin crew before boarding the plane (Italy). The second temperature measurement takes place in the second phase of the flight and is performed by the cabin crew, then the result is recorded on the Passenger Location Card. In exceptional cases, measurements may also be taken by medical or security services, who may board the aircraft after the landing.

In the case of measurements taken after landing by medical or law enforcement services, in the onboard announcement, passengers will be asked to remain in their seats while waiting for the relevant services to board the plane.

Temperature measurements will also be taken by cabin crew at a passenger's request or when a passenger has symptoms of illness that may indicate infection with SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus
