Copenhagen Kastrup Airport (CPH)

Copenhagen Airport (CPH) is located just 8 kilometers from the Danish capital, in the town of Kastrup on the island of Amager. CPH Airport has three terminals, which were used by more than 30 million passengers in 2019. This figure means that there is no larger airport in Denmark than Copenhagen-Kastrup just now. Moreover, as the only airport in the country, Copenhagen Airport has as many as three runways.

You can get to Copenhagen from CPH airport by city buses running around the clock. The transfer to the city center takes about 25 minutes. Buses to further parts of Denmark and to Sweden also leave from the Kastrup Airport terminal. Another way to get from CPH Airport to the nation's capital is by train, which leaves from Copenhagen Airport station every 10 minutes. If, on the other hand, you want to order a ride the other way, cabs leave only from the area at Terminal 3.

Amenities for travellers

In the Copenhagen Airport terminal you'll find a number of restaurants and bars - including those that take online orders. There are also grocery stores, clothing stores, electronics and jewelry stores, a bookstore and a bank. Denmark's largest airport, of course, also has a duty-free zone. Also worth mentioning are the free shuttle buses that run between CPH Airport's three terminals. People with disabilities, meanwhile, can take advantage of an assistant. Upon request, Copenhagen Airport also offers comprehensive VIP services.
