The family is complete! The third Embraer E195-E2 has joined our fleet

On October 12, the third of the latest generation Embraers from the Brazilian manufacturer landed at Chopin Airport in Warsaw. The aircraft, registered SP-LEC, took to the skies with our Crane logo on the tail after a long journey from Brazil and completed its first flights within our route network. Welcome home!
Embraer E195-E2 family is complete!
SP-LEA
The first Embraer E195-E2 landed in Warsaw on July 31 and took its inaugural flight in our livery to Oslo on August 11.
SP-LEB
The aircraft registered SP-LEB joined our aviation family on September 19, and two days later proudly took to the skies, carrying our passengers to Zurich.
SP-LEC
Sierra Papa Lima Echo Charlie, as read using the ICAO phonetic alphabet, landed in Warsaw on October 12 and embarked on its first flight from Warsaw to Oslo.
Twenty years after the delivery of the first Embraer E-170, the LOT Polish Airlines fleet has expanded by three Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. These new planes will allow us to increase the frequency of flights to selected European cities, offering passengers a high level of comfort with our next-generation fleet. The introduction of these new, low-emission aircraft is also a key part of our 'Destination ECO' strategy. Today, LOT Polish Airlines is one of the largest Embraer operators in Europe, and we are delighted to welcome the latest state-of-the-art aircraft, inviting our passengers to join us on our journeys.

More modern and efficient
The latest aircraft in our fleet from the Brazilian manufacturer Embraer – Empresa Brasileira de Aeronáutica. The Embraer E195-E2 is 25% more efficient compared to the previous generation E195, resulting in lower fuel consumption and reduced CO2 emissions. This allows us to further our environmental efforts as part of our LOT For The Environment policy.
What technically distinguishes the latest Embraers from the previous generation?
- Greater range – up to 4,815 km
- Economical and low-emission Pratt & Whitney engines
The addition of the new E195-E2 type brings new opportunities for our technical services and flight personnel. The E195-E2 is one of the most advanced regional aircraft, with a range of up to 4,815 km—nearly 1,000 km more than the previous generation. These aircraft are equipped with modern, economical, and low-emission Pratt & Whitney engines. Additionally, the cockpit commonality allows pilots to smoothly transition from the E1 fleet to the E2. After completing additional training, pilots will be able to operate both types of aircraft.
