Before travelling to Heathrow
Despite the huge number of passengers handled, Heathrow has just two runways. However, LHR Airport has as many as four passenger terminals (T2, T3, T4 and T5) to accomodate all the travellers. Transfer from the airport
To get from Heathrow Airport to London, you should head to the railway station, from which trains run to the center every 30 minutes, and Paddington Station every 15 minutes. Heathrow Airport is also served by subway's Picadilly line. Other transportation options include buses and shuttle buses that cooperate with London hotels. If you value comfort in your travels, take advantage of the distinctive black cabs waiting outside the arrivals hall. Getting from the airport to central London takes more than half an hour on average.
