Established in 1997, Star Alliance was the first alliance to unite initially 5 airlines, offering smooth service to the international Passenger. Currently the alliance consists of 25 airlines from all parts of the world that serve daily 19,000 flights to over 1,350 airports in 195 countries. Market acceptance is proved by numerous awards, including Air Transport World Market Leadership Award and Best Airline Alliance both from the Business Traveller Magazine and from Skytrax.
