The Venice Biennale is a biennial event and the foremost showcase of contemporary world art. Want to participate? Be sure to take an art trip to Italy and discover that the level of artistic creativity presented there is exceptionally high!

Rijksmuseum | February 16–June 9, 2024

In 2023, the Rijksmuseum organized the largest exhibition ever, showcasing the treasures of Vermeer’s paintings. Now, during your visit to the gallery, you can see a grand monograph centered on Frans Hals, one of the most renowned Dutch portraitists of the Baroque era.

What was Frans Hals like? Unconventional, witty, and a bit rough around the edges — he is one of the few painters who defined the 17th century. Book a flight to Amsterdam and admire the most magnificent works of this master at the Rijksmuseum from February 16 to June 9, 2024.

Alte Nationalgalerie | April 19–August 4, 2024

In 2024, we will celebrate the 250th anniversary of Caspar David Friedrich's birth. To mark this occasion, a series of thematically distinct exhibitions will be held in Berlin at the Hamburger Kunsthalle, Alte Nationalgalerie, and Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden.

The life and work of the painter will also be honored in his hometown of Greifswald through a year-long program of events. See Caspar David Friedrich's works in person and book your flight to Berlin.

Albertina | March 8–July 14, 2024

Occasionally, you don't need to travel to the other side of the world for a proper gallery visit. If you're interested in surrealist trends in Polish art over the last century, we invite you to the Warsaw exhibition “Surrealism. Other Myths” at the National Museum.

The exhibition showcases various surrealist techniques, highlighting the global, inclusive, and diverse nature of this art movement. In addition to works from the National Museum in Warsaw's collection, you will see pieces on loan from other Polish museums, international institutions, and private collections. POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw | May 17–December 16, 2024

Book a flight to Warsaw and see “Shtetl Opatów”—an extraordinary temporary exhibition that presents the history of towns known as shtetls, inhabited by both Poles and Jews before the war. The everyday lives of these communities are vividly depicted through the paintings of Majer Kirszenblat, who, by portraying his memories, revives the past events.

The exhibition is further enriched with objects acquired from collectors and private donors, photographs, and artworks that reference the art of Majer Kirszenblat.

National Museum in Kielce | April 30 – September 29, 2024

“To Understand Noble Art is an Art” is a tribute to the work of Jacek Kaczmarski, a Polish poet and singer-songwriter who often drew inspiration from the masterpieces of various eras. The exhibition coincides with the 20th anniversary of the artist's death and showcases the parallels between his work and visual arts.

The exhibition features works that directly inspired Kaczmarski's lyrics, as well as those that address similar significant cultural, historical, and philosophical themes. Each piece is accompanied by Kaczmarski's texts and the opportunity to listen to the corresponding song. Visitors will also see paintings by Kaczmarski's parents, family memorabilia, and archival materials.
