Transfer from the airport

Barcelona El Prat Airport is only 10 km from the Catalonian capital. If you are wondering how to get from El Prat to the center of Barcelona, the airport's "Aerobus" buses are a good option. There are L9 Sud metro stations at both terminals of BCN Airport, as well as several public transport bus lines. If you want to travel farther than Barcelona, you can use intercity and international bus services. Important information! If you are arriving at El Prat Airport at night, you will only get into the city by cabs, waiting at the exits of both terminals, and one of the three night bus lines.

Amenities for travellers

If you are transferring at El Prat Airport and need to get to another terminal, take the free bus that operates here all the time. Keep in mind, however, that it takes up to 15 minutes to transfer between different parts of Barcelona Airport. If you have more time at your disposal before leaving El Prat Airport, head to one of the many food outlets to taste traditional tapas and Spanish wine. Importantly, both terminals of El Prat Airport have a very similar offer of service outlets and stores. If you're in the mood for something special, be sure to try one of the treatments at the airport's spa lounge or luxury beauty salon. It's a great way to relax before a long trip!
