Transfer from the airport

O'Hare Airport is located 27 kilometers from downtown Chicago, so it can take some time to reach some parts of the city. You'll get to downtown by direct CTA Blue Line subway in about 45 minutes. There are also public transportation buses from ORD Airport to Chicago, as well as regional buses that offer connections to other nearby destinations. You'll find cab stands on the departures level outside each terminal. O'Hare Airport has several parking lots located near the terminals, but due to the huge number of passengers, finding a free spot may not be easy.
