Can I take my smart bag on board?
What is a smart bag?
By smart bag we mean luggage that has additional features such as:
- Allows you to use your luggage as a personal transport device,
- It has a built-in power bank with a lithium-ion battery for charging,
other electronic devices such as mobile phones, tablets and laptops, - Has GPS tracking devices with or without GSM function,
- Can be connected via bluetooth, rfid or wi-fi,
- Has an electronic lock,
- Has a motor and tracking device, allowing it to self-propel and follow the owner.
Can I take my smart bag on the plane?
You can only bring your smart bag as your baggage on plane if it is possible to batteries can be removed.

Smart bag - hand luggage or checked-in luggage?
Both options are allowed, provided you remove the batteries from the smart bag. Pack the batteries separately and secure them properly (to avoid short circuits). The primary battery and a maximum of two spare batteries must be carried in the cabin (in hand luggage).
Remember, however, that one battery must not exceed a capacity of 160 Wh.
