Transfer from the airport

O'Hare Airport is located 27 kilometers from downtown Chicago, so it can take some time to reach some parts of the city. You'll get to downtown by direct CTA Blue Line subway in about 45 minutes. There are also public transportation buses from ORD Airport to Chicago, as well as regional buses that offer connections to other nearby destinations. You'll find cab stands on the departures level outside each terminal. O'Hare Airport has several parking lots located near the terminals, but due to the huge number of passengers, finding a free spot may not be easy.

Amenities for travellers

Due to the huge size of O'Hare Airport, among the amenities available to passengers, the first to be mentioned is the ATS rail transportation, which allows quick travel between terminals and other key facilities at Chicago Airport. There are business lounges in Terminal 5, while the Chapel can be found in Terminal 2. Chicago Airport has dozens of bars and restaurants on its premises and a similar number of diverse stores, too many to list here. There are even LEGO vending machines in Terminals 2 and 5!
