We inaugurated the connection to San Francisco!

On May 6 at 5:40 PM, our Dreamliner took off from Warsaw bound for San Francisco. See how we celebrated!

Celebrating together

Passengers were welcomed by a specially prepared photo wall for the occasion, where they could take commemorative photos, and on board everyone received a souvenir magnet as a gift.

The entire event was accompanied by an atmosphere of joy and excitement ahead of discovering picturesque San Francisco. The holiday character of the destination was also highlighted by a DJ performance.

The aircraft operating the inaugural WAW–SFO flight was a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner with registration number SP-LRG.

With the debut of this route, San Francisco becomes the sixth airport in the United States to be included in our regular network. At the same time, we are opening up access for travellers to one of the world’s most inspiring cities, valued for its culture, diversity and unique character. I am confident that the new route will serve as a catalyst for both tourism and the development of Polish business.”

    • The Golden Gate Bridge is not red by accident — its official color is International Orange. It was chosen because it stands out best in the fog that often blankets the city.
