Prague Airport (PRG) is an international airport located on the west-north edge of the Czech capital, about 10 km from the city center. Not so long ago, the airport's official name was Prague-Ruzyně, while in 2012 the first Czech president, Václav Havel, became its patron. In 2019, Prague Airport handled just under 18 million passengers.

Transfer from the airport
To find transportation to the center of Prague, go in front of the arrivals hall at Terminal 1 - there are bus stops there, from which you can reach the metro in about 20 minutes. If you want to get to the main train station, the Airport Express bus will take you there in 40 minutes. The R7 motorway passes right by Prague Airport and connects the capital with the northwest part of the Czech Republic, so traveling by car from Prague Airport will not be a problem for you. In addition, there are as many as 6 parking lots near the terminals of the largest airport in the Czech Republic, where you can safely leave your car for longer. On the other hand, if you're dropping someone off at the terminal or picking them up after a trip, you will certainly enjoy the 15-minute free parking.

Prague Airport provides information desks in all terminals, and people with disabilities can expect full support from the staff. Prague Airport has a post office open 7 days a week, and there are also currency exchange offices and ATMs. There is also no shortage of car rental shops - you'll find them on the first floor near parking lot C.
