Can I travel with a baby stroller?
As part of the free baggage allowance, the passenger may take a pushchair with him/her in accordance with the relevant cases:
Infant (child under 2 years of age) without a purchased seat:
As part of the free baggage allowance, the passenger may take along a collapsible stroller or car seat. The stroller/pushchair/car seat will be taken into the hold (taken before boarding and returned immediately after departure).
If the passenger wants to take both the stroller and the car seat, one of them must be checked in as part of the checked baggage allowance or as additional baggage (as part of the paid additional baggage service).
Children from 2 to 12 years of age and infants (children under 2 years of age) with a purchased seat:
Passengers can bring a collapsible stroller and a car seat as free baggage. The stroller/pushchair are taken to the hold (taken before boarding the plane and returned immediately after leaving), while the car seat can be taken on board.
Please note that an infant under 2 years of age who occupies a separate seat must travel in a special IATA-approved child seat.
If the passenger decides that he or she does not need a a stroller during the trip, he or she can register it at the check-in counter. An airport employee will pick up the stroller before boarding the plane. The stroller/pushchair will be handed over after the flight, immediately after disembarkation, so that it can be used freely at the airport. The stroller will be marked with a special tag. In addition, at Warsaw Chopin Airport, passengers are provided with free strollers.
