Katowice Airport (KTW)

Katowice Airport (KTW) is an aerodrome with as many as three terminals (A, B and C), which served more than 2.3 million passengers in 2021. What is interesting, Katowice Pyrzowice Airport has one of the longest runways in Poland - it is 3,200 meters long and 45 meters wide. Katowice Airport is named after Wojciech Korfanty, polish politician and activist.

Transfer from Katowice Airport

Pyrzowice Airport is approximately 30 kilometers from the center of Katowice. Directly in front of the building of Katowice Airport you can find a bus stop served by many long-distance carriers. You can use them to get to Gliwice, Piekary Śląskie, Kraków, Rybnik, Zabrze, Częstochowa or Czech Ostrava. The coaches usually operate to the very center of Katowice. You can also use cabs, which have a stop in front of Terminal B.
