Can I order a nut-free meal?
Yes. In our special meal options, you will find a dish free from the allergens you wish to exclude (SPML). However, this applies to selected flights. To ensure that the meal will be available and confirmed for your flight, please contact our LOT Contact Center.
Passengers with nut allergies
If you have a nut allergy, please inform us about it. When boarding the aircraft, please notify the cabin crew of any food allergies. Once notified, we will make every effort to exclude nuts from our service and make a special onboard announcement to inform other passengers about the presence of a traveler with an allergy.
Onboard environment – important information
We understand that for passengers with nut allergies, a safe environment is essential. While we take every precaution, the complex process of meal preparation and aircraft loading, as well as the possibility of accidental contact of ingredients in catering kitchens, means that we cannot guarantee an entirely allergen-free environment – including peanuts and their derivatives.
We also cannot control whether other passengers bring nuts on board or consume nut-containing products, nor the possible presence of trace amounts of allergens on surfaces or within the ventilation system.
We therefore ask you to take all necessary precautions and consider the potential risk of allergen exposure, for example by carrying an EpiPen. If you have any concerns about your ability to travel, we strongly recommend consulting your doctor prior to the flight.
LOT Polish Airlines cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions that may occur during travel.
