You will be amazed by the natural beauty of Bastejkalns Park – with its Love Bridge. Take a canal cruise or just sit back and enjoy the charm of the beautiful statues or the beautiful bridges.

While in Riga, don't forget the important attractions – the Small and the Great Guilds. The buildings were erected in the Middle Ages and both were rebuilt in the 19th century in neo-Gothic style. The Great Guild brings together the best merchants and aristocracy of Riga, and the Small Guild the less wealthy merchants and craftsmen. Today, the former Great Guild building houses the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, and the Small Guild building is a cultural center.

The Latvian Academy of Sciences Skyscraper attracts particular attention in Riga. It will remind you of the center of Warsaw, as it is similar to the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw. While inside, follow up to the observation deck for an amazing view of the Dvina River, the TV Tower - one of the largest in Europe - and the National Library.
