How to transport cosmetics and perfumes in baggage?
Planning to travel and want to take your favourite fragrance or cologne with you? Wondering if you can carry perfume on the plane? Not sure if you can carry perfume in your checked or carry-on baggage? Below you will find the general rules for transporting cosmetics and perfumes.
Can I bring perfume on a plane?
Favourite scent? Perfume, eau de toilette, or maybe cologne? Yes, you can take perfume and other favourite cosmetic products with you on the plane - both in checked baggage and carry-on baggage.
In checked baggage, remember to secure glass containers properly to prevent damage during transport.
In carry-on baggage, you are subject to a volume limit of 100 ml. Place perfume and other cosmetics in one toiletry bag so they can be easily removed during security checks. Just like electronics, these products are subject to inspection by the security officer before your flight.
