Extra Legroom Bidding

The eligibility of flights and tickets for seat bidding is determined by various factors, including seat availability. To find out if your flight qualifies for seat bidding, simply visit our dedicated Page. Please note that not all flights may be eligible for this exciting opportunity.

Extra Legroom seats can be bid online anytime after your booking, up to 36 hours before your scheduled departure. If you are eligible, you will also receive an email request to  bid the Extra Legroom.

To choose the amount you want to offer, simply adjust the slider to your desired value for each eligible flight displayed. Use the slider to set the specific amount you are willing to pay for the seat bidding.

No, bidding is only available online.

These seats are non-refundable. Changing your seat will forfeit your reserved Extra Legroom.

Once you have placed a bid for an Extra Legroom, we will keep you informed via email. You can expect to receive a notification between 48 hours and 23 hours prior to your scheduled departure. 

If your bid is accepted, you will receive an email confirmation stating that your offer has been approved. Your credit card will be charged with the amount you're offered, and you will be assigned a new seat. The email will include your updated seat number. To access your updated itinerary and boarding pass with the new seat assignment, simply visit the 'Check-in' tab on the homepage of our website. You can print your updated documents. 

If your bid is not accepted, we will also notify you via email. Rest assured that you will not be charged, and there will be no changes made to your Booking Reference.

Certain unavoidable circumstances such as, but not limited to aircraft change, flight schedule, or instances due to safety, security, and operational concerns may require us to change your seat or assign the seats to another passenger. In the event that the extra seat assigned to you is not provided, a full refund will automatically be processed. 

If more than one traveller exists in the original flight booking, the offer applies to each traveller.

If you haven't received a confirmation email after submitting your request, please allow a few hours for the email to be generated. In the meantime, we recommend checking your email account's spam folder as well.

You may revise or cancel your offer at any time up to 36 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time.

Upon receiving an email confirmation from us regarding your request, you will find a link embedded within it. Simply click on that link and choose the appropriate flight to view the status of your request.

Please note that the bid offer you submitted is valid only for the original flight you selected. If you request a modification to your booking, such as changing the flight, we cannot guarantee that the specific seat you initially chose will be available on the new flight.

If you find yourself needing to cancel your offer, you have the flexibility to do so up to 36 hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight. However, please note that this is only applicable if your offer has not yet been accepted. 

To cancel your offer, you have a couple of options available.

• First, you can click on the "Cancel" link provided in the "Selection Requested" email that was sent to you when you initially submitted your offer. This will direct you to the cancellation process.

• Alternatively, you can visit the Bid Page, where you will find the option to cancel your offer. Simply follow the provided instructions to cancel your bid successfully.
