How to transport medications at a low temperature?

Medications can only be transported in your travel fridge or in packaging with dry ice.

Dry ice can be carried in either carry-on or checked baggage with the airline's approval, in quantities not exceeding 2.5 kg net weight, if it is used to pack perishable goods (without additional risk), provided that the packaging allows the release of carbon dioxide (CO2 gas).

Each package containing dry ice must be labeled with "DRY ICE" or "CARBON DIOXIDE, SOLID" and the net weight of the dry ice, or marked as containing 2.5 kg or less.

If you wish to transport a cooler or dry ice, please notify us no later than 48 hours before your flight via LOT Contact Center.

Note: For safety reasons, we do not store passenger medications on board the aircraft. The passenger is responsible for the safe transport and storage of medications throughout the flight.
