For the next 2 years, a Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with registration SP-LVK will carry out flights in the jubilee colors of KROSNO. The golden-black graphics with the logo were prepared to celebrate the 100th anniversary of one of the most recognizable manufacturers of utility glass in Poland and a worldwide showcase of Polish craftsmanship. The first flight of the machine took place on July 8 on the route from Warsaw to Beirut (flight LO145)
Unique anniversary graphics
The anniversary graphics for the aircraft were created by Khrystyna Patsak of Krosno Glass. Painting of the machine using a specialized technique was carried out at a paint shop in Shannon, Ireland. For this purpose, 35 liters of certified gold paint were used, adapted to above-normal weather conditions.
This year, the KROSNO brand is celebrating its 100th birthday. We decided to celebrate it in a unique way, by communicating on a non-standard and beautiful medium, which is an airplane of the almost 100-year-old LOT airlines. The graphic that adorns the plane features the KROSNO logo in a jubilee edition, with the inscription 'Brilliance in glass since 1923', a decanter and a glass from the jubilee 'Celebration' collection and a stamp with a metallurgist. The whole project is maintained in gold and black colors and the style of KROSNO's 'Celebration' birthday collection, inspired by the art déco style, reigning in the decade in which the smelter was founded.

Promoting an outstanding Polish brand
Earlier this year, in June, we announced a long-term cooperation with Krosno Glass to supply glass for LOT Business Class and LOT Premium Economy flight decks. Among them will be the first "champagne glass" in our history, in addition to other glass elements in a specially designed for LOT. Thanks to the cooperation, KROSNO products will reach more than 100 airports in North America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
As part of the cooperation between LOT and Krosno Glass, we are not only developing our offerings on the guest decks of our planes, but also actively promoting Polish design around the world. I'm convinced that the special painting of our Boeing 737 MAX 8, prepared as part of KROSNO's 100th anniversary celebrations, will catch the attention of many travelers, and the new glasses and goblets will delight LOT's passengers with the highest quality and exceptional design.
