Recycling Days at LOT

Did you know that on March 18 we celebrated World Recycling Day?🌱 It was established in 2018 with the goal of promoting recycling and educating people about the recovery of raw materials from electro-waste. World Recycling Day is the perfect time to think about sensible disposal of natural resources, and transfer your reflections to your daily habits!

What do we do about it? Our actions

In honor of World Recycling Day, we decided to minimize the amount of mixed waste we generate. We set ourselves the goal of removing the mixed waste garbage cans from individual office spaces by the end of March. As an alternative, we offered our employees the use of selective waste collection bins, which we placed in office corridors, lobbies and kitchens.

In conjunction with World Recycling Day, celebrated on March 18, PLL LOT held Recycling Days for employees at its office building.

Recycling Days at the LOT office building lasted from March 15 to 18. During this time, we were able to organize two, large actions for our employees.

On March 15, PGL and LOT employees had the opportunity to participate in a webinar: How and why to separate waste? Facts and myths about recycling. The event was held on the MS Teams platform and covered topics related to waste management.
On March 16, in cooperation with the ASEKOL organization, we held a campaign to collect electro-waste. From 8 am to 1 pm at the PLL LOT office building, employees could donate the collected electro-waste, and in return - they received plants of their choice! 🌳🌿🍀 What was our slogan? Segregate waste - receive a surprise!
