Olsztyn Mazury Airport (SZY)

Olsztyn-Mazury Airport (SZY) is located in Szymany - in the very middle of Warmia and Mazury area. The airport is capable of accommodating aircraft with a wingspan of up to 36 meters (such as the Airbus A321 or our Boeing 737-800 aircraft). Szymany Airport is the second airport in Poland to offer a premium GA service. It allows you to seamlessly go through the check-in process in specially designated comfortable areas.

Transfer from the airport

From Szymany Airport you can get 2 bus lines to Olsztyn and Grajewo (via Ełk). What's important, the arrival and departure times of the buses are adjusted to the airport's flight schedule. However, make sure that the carriers do not require booking bus seats (opens in a new tab) in advance for travel to/from the airport.

There are also PolRegio rail buses departing from Szymany Airport, with which you can quickly cover the 58-kilometer distance to Olsztyn. You'll find a platform adapted to the needs of the people with disabilities at the departures and arrivals terminal. You can also order a cab at the airport - but keep in mind that they do not have a regular parking space at the terminal. The Mazury Airport provides travelers with an observation deck with an area of more than 550 square meters. There is no charge for access to the terrace, so you can freely watch planes taking off and landing.
