Transfer from the airport

JFK Airport is located 26 kilometers southeast of downtown Manhattan. While at the airport, you can take the AirTrain JFK, which will quickly and conveniently take you to the Howard Beach and Jamaica subway stations. On the second of these, you can also change to the train. The trip to downtown Manhattan should take you about an hour. You'll also get to various New York City neighborhoods by buses, which run around the clock. At JFK Airport, you can also take advantage of New York's cab and car rental services.
