Embraer 190

Four E190 planes were acquired for flights to and from London City Airport. Due to the short runway and steep approach angle, only a few types of passenger planes - including Embraer 190 - are certified for landing at this airport.

Embraer E190 has 106 seats on board in two classes: LOT Business Class and LOT Economy Class. The maximum range of these aircraft is almost 3.5 thousand kilometers. The jets are equipped with modern General Electric CF34 engines, with reduced CO2 emission.

LOT has the Embraer E-Jet family E1 version launch carrier status. As the first in the world in March 2004, we made a commercial cruise with the smallest plane in the family, the E170. It still works well on the European flights. We are also the first to have all four planes from the E-Jet E1 family: E170/175/190/195.
