Athens Airport (ATH) is located 25 km east of downtown Athens.
In operation since 2001, Athens Airport is Greece's largest airport and its main hub.

By bus
The bus stop is located near the departure hall. From Athens Airport, you will get to the city center with lines X94, X95, X96 and X97. Buses run 24 hours a day, and their schedule is the same, both on weekdays and on Sundays and holidays. Tickets for the bus can be purchased at the ticket booth near the departure hall. Approximate travel time from Athens Airport to the Port of Piraeus (the entire route of Line X96) is 90 minutes, but may vary depending on traffic.
By metro
The metro stop is located in the departure hall. The purchased metro ticket must be punched at the ticket counters in front of the escalators, before going to the platform. Approximate metro travel time to downtown Athens is about 40 minutes.
