When should I request special assistance?

You should request special assistance if:

  • You need assistance at the airport or during boarding (e.g. you are unable to walk long distances, you have a problem walking up/down stairs)
  • You are visually impaired, blind or deaf
  • You are travelling with an assistance dog
  • You are carrying medications which must be refrigerated 
  • You need to use an oxygen cylinder or an oxygen concentrator
  • You are heavily pregnant, above 32nd Week 
  • You are travelling with an infant younger than 7 days
  • You wear a cast which prevents you from bending your knee
