You must not attach/fix any additional items to your checked baggage which may detach during transport. The carrier is not liable for their loss.

NOTE! The carrier may refuse to accept checked baggage if it is not packed in a manner that guarantees safe carriage when handled with the exercise of an ordinary level of diligence. LOT recommends precise labelling of baggage with an address tag or label. The carrier does not take any responsibility for easily breakable or perishable items, nor for cash, jewellery or other valuables, documents, commercial samples, etc. carried in the baggage. The carriage of these items takes place exclusively at the passenger's own risk and responsibility.

The rules of the carriage of hazardous materials are available also on the Civil Aviation Authority website and on the IATA website.
