Can I travel with a stoma?
Yes! Passengers with a stoma can travel on our flights without any restrictions. To make your journey as comfortable and hassle-free as possible, please follow these recommendations:
- Let us know about your needs at least 48 hours before your scheduled flight. You can find our contact details on the Contact page.
- You can carry the medical equipment and supplies required for your stoma free of charge as additional medical baggage. When contacting us, please provide a list of the items and their total weight so we can add this information to your booking.
- If you would prefer a seat closer to the lavatory, let us know. Subject to availability, we will assign one to you free of charge.
- If you need assistance getting around the airport or during check-in, you can request free special assistance. For more information, please visit the Special Assistance page.
- Passengers with a stoma are not required to complete the Medical Information Form (MEDIF). However, we recommend carrying a standard medical certificate (preferably in English) confirming your medical condition, as well as prescriptions for any medical supplies and medications you are travelling with. These documents may be helpful during airport security screening.
- If you have any underlying medical conditions, please complete the Medical Information Form (MEDIF) before your journey.
